Portsmouth Fairy House Tour, September 22 and 23, Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Gear up for a magical experience this weekend when the Portsmouth Fairy House Tour takes place over the course of two days. The 14th annual Fairy House Tour will feature more than 250 handcrafted fairy houses designed and crafted by local artists, florists, and garden enthusiasts. The event will take place in the historic South End Neighborhood of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Attendees will get to see award-winning author and illustrator of the Fairy Houses Series, Tracy Kane for a meet and greet, as well as performances of the “Fairy Houses–the Ballet” play. 10th Annual Vermont Fairy House Festival, September 29 and 30, Grafton, Vermont
This September 29th and 30th, The Nature Museum will hold the Fairy House Festival, which will benefit the museum’s environmental education programs that are presented in public schools and libraries throughout the school year, as well as the museum’s exhibits. The magical event will enable guests to commune with nature in a path peppered with charming fairy houses. They’ll also be able to create their own fairy houses back at The Nature Museum. Activities such as hands-on crafts, face painting, and bubbles will be available for kids and kids at heart. The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Fairy and Hobbit House Festival, October 5 and 6, Lee, New Hampshire
This October, Bedrock Gardens will serve as host to the third annual Fairy and Hobbit House Festival and Fundraiser, during which fairy garden enthusiasts will be treated to amazing guest appearances and surprises. Attendees will be able to get up close and personal with author Betsy Williams, the woman behind “Are there Faeries at the Bottom of Your Garden?” Guests can also explore the wondrous designer-built fairy houses at the Fairy & Hobbit House Trail and make their own houses using different types of supplies that will be provided. There will also be a ton of amazing special items such as books, delectable fairy food, and other whimsical handmade items.
